Order for the whole family or a party crowd

The Cube Step In Hot Tub, or simply Cube among friends, is American-sized. Two metres by two metres means four square metres of swimming or relaxation space. Small children can even swim in this tub! Adults should put on swimming goggles, as there is room to splash, paddle and play! Once the children have been sent off to bed, the Cube can fit the whole neighbourhood’s mums and dads, and perhaps even grandma, as this hot tub accommodates up to 12 people without any world-record attempts. Naturally, you can pamper yourself by getting the Cube as a solo hot tub, where even the longest bather can float without fear of hitting their feet or head against the edge. You can dive in positions other than the foetal position. The Cube is also a guaranteed hit at home parties, lifting the mood sky-high, as it has no roof and allows you to admire every season without limits.

With Hyvän Kaupan Paikka hot tubs, summer is always hot and beautiful. In autumn, you can admire the surrounding autumn colours from the warm water. In winter, you can defy the biting frost by putting on just a woolly hat and taking a dip in a soothingly hot bath. In spring, the hot tub promises the coming summer, as if you were getting a head start on it.

More bathing space without significantly greater water consumption

The Cube holds over 2,200 litres of water when filled to the brim. This is somewhat unnecessary, of course, since when eight to twelve bathers jump into the pleasantly warm water, a huge amount flows over the edge to waste. We recommend filling it to around 1,800 litres, which is only a couple of hundred litres more than a standard-sized hot tub. Although Finland is the land of thousands of lakes and water is plentiful, there is no need to turn the Cube into a one-off garden geyser. It is easy to learn to estimate the right amount of water for the number of people.

The Step In step has many uses

You might not think one plastic step could do much, but it can. We designed the Step In step to make getting into the tub easier and to fit the Cube perfectly. Naturally, the step also makes it easier to get out, but it serves as a seat for smaller children who might otherwise sink too deeply into the water. In use, we have also found that the step works as an excellent armrest, turning the Cube into a convenient water armchair. The Step In solution makes the Cube a hot tub for all ages and makes bathing easier for people with reduced mobility. Thanks to the Cube’s Step In step, tired limbs are easier to lower into the soothingly warm water.

The Cube’s design gives special attention to the corners. Sitting in the corner is not an awkward experience pressed against the walls; the backrests placed in the corners make them the most sought-after seats in the tub.

A wealth of choices

In keeping with Hyvän Kaupan Paikka’s usual style, the customer is always right, which is why we want to offer different options for the Cube’s interior. You can choose the plastic tub colour from five options and consider the placement of the Step In step in relation to the stove. And that is not all. You can also choose the material for the exterior cladding from three options and select a black or grey cover. The tub colour range is inspired by nature, with options including sea blue and lichen grey. All colour schemes are compatible and work wonderfully together.

Efficient, gentle warmth

Our efficient marine-aluminium Arctic stove heats the water to bathing temperature in a couple of hours. The 35 kW stove is packed with power; its marine aluminium is durable and conducts heat well. The stove has an attractive glass door, so the wood-fired hot tub creates a beautiful glow around it and you do not need to open the door to check the fire.

The marine-aluminium stoves included in Hyvän Kaupan Paikka hot-tub packages are made in Finland. The powerful stove is not even deterred by seawater, as it works with both fresh and sea water. Carefully considered material details make the stove a red-hot, top-quality product. The stove package includes 2 m of flue pipe and a rain cap, but if you want more pipe, a flue guard or a spark arrester, see the accessories list.

Remember that chlorine is not recommended with marine aluminium, as chlorine begins to oxidise it. We recommend changing the water sufficiently often and using active oxygen tablets (see the accessories list). Active oxygen oxidises the water over approximately 24 hours, after which it can also be used for watering, as it contains no added chemicals and is safer for children. Oxygen-depleted water can easily create a slimy surface on the tub edges, but active oxygen prevents this process.

Turbocharged super stove!

The Cube can be supplied with an extra-powerful 50 kW stove, which brings your hot tub to bathing temperature in almost a single heating. With this turbocharged stove, the cube of water heats up in as little as an hour in winter and naturally much faster in summer. The three-pipe system improves water circulation between the stove and the tub. With this stove, even your hot-tub drinks may not have time to cool sufficiently, but you are unlikely to hear complaints about the tub heating quickly.

Carefree plastic tub

Unique in design and focused on seating comfort, the Cube’s tub section is made from rotationally moulded Jaxal polyethylene. This plastic has a memory and wants to retain the shape into which it was moulded. The easy-care, low-maintenance plastic tub stands the test of time, which is why we can confidently grant it a 10-year warranty.

As the plastic tub has no moulded seams, dirt cannot accumulate in any particular places. However, remember to keep the tub surfaces clean when changing the water. This is easy to do with ordinary cleaning products. The most meticulous users can occasionally clean the tub more thoroughly, i.e. disinfect it, but remember to handle wastewater correctly.

Wood outside, insulation underneath – all Finnish quality

Manufactured to order at Hyvän Kaupan Paikka’s factory in Oulu, the Cube is finished with beautiful wood. The Lunawood deep heat-treated wood used for the exterior cladding improves with age. If you wish, you can apply wood preservative, wood oil or even paint, but without treatment the wood will develop a dignified grey patina over the years. Beneath the wooden shell lies the Cube’s warm heart, as the tub is lined with thermo-plastic insulation on the sides. Under the tub is a carefully made EPS insulation layer over 40 cm thick, keeping your backside warm even during the harshest frozen winters. The Cube is automatically a so-called winter model, but there are no penalties for using the hot tub in summer—at most, you will enjoy a relaxed feeling and a more luxurious everyday life.

Finnish quality workmanship

You can relax in the hot tub with complete peace of mind, as the Cube is a Key Flag product representing Finnish craftsmanship while supporting domestic employment.

Now the only question is whether you want more luxury in your life. There is plenty available—by the cube-load. Get a Cube Step In Hot Tub and the veil of everyday grey will be pulled away from your eyes during every bathing session. Add more enjoyment to life with Hyvän Kaupan Paikka hot tubs!
