Volkswagen Golf, 2010, Vaasa

For sale is a stylish black Golf Variant Highline, offering plenty of equipment, comfortable driving characteristics and practical space. The car has just passed its roadworthiness test, so the next test is not due until autumn 2027.

Externally, the car is in smart condition for its age. There is a little rust here and there, but the overall appearance remains tidy and presentable. The interior has also remained in good condition, and the years of use are not distractingly visible in the cabin.

Equipment includes, among other things:

• Xenon headlights with cornering function

• Alcantara/cloth upholstery

• Climatronic automatic climate control

• Cruise control

• Multifunction steering wheel with paddle shifters

• Heated front seats

• Rain sensor

• Headlight washers

• Electrically adjustable and heated mirrors

• Tinted rear windows

• Lumbar supports in the front seats

• Two sets of tyres on alloy wheels

The winter tyres are studded, and the summer tyres are also still in usable condition.

On the road, the car behaves properly. The engine runs smoothly, and there are no unusual knocks or rattles from the chassis. The engine warning light is on, but this has not affected normal drivability.

Fault diagnostics have been carried out, indicating repair needs related to the engine timing and the turbocharging system. The positive point is that the next owner will not have to guess the cause of the fault, as the direction of the problems has already been established by professionals. The car is therefore well suited to a knowledgeable enthusiast or workshop looking for a sensible project with faults already identified.

This Golf offers an interesting combination: a well-equipped Highline model, DSG automatic transmission, a recently completed roadworthiness test and a tidy overall condition. All in a package where the potential repairs are already largely known.

If you are looking for an affordable practical estate and are handy with tools—or know a good mechanic—this could be a very smart purchase. The car does not hide its age, but in return it offers plenty of equipment, comfort and many more kilometres of use. 🚗💨🔧

In other words: the Golf starts, drives and has just passed its roadworthiness test. It just occasionally reminds you that it is still German and would like a little attention. 😄
