The object is sold in a transaction between users. Huutokaupat.com is not a party to the sale.

Bidders undertake to allow Huutokaupat.com to disclose their contact details to the advertiser to enable the sales decision and notification thereof.

The City of Helsinki, Urban Environment Division, reserves the right to accept or reject the highest bid. If the highest bidder withdraws, the City of Helsinki may consider offering the object to the second-highest bidder at the highest price offered by that bidder.

The object is sold in the condition and with the equipment it has as described in the listing and at the time of sale. Anyone participating in the auction is obliged to inspect the object for sale and the documents themselves before making a binding bid. The buyer may not subsequently invoke a circumstance that could have been detected during a prior inspection or from the documents. By submitting a bid, the bidder accepts the condition of the object as is.

The buyer has no right of exchange or return. No warranty is provided for the object. The descriptions in the listing are solely the seller's estimates of the object for sale.

The seller's deed of sale will be used. Ownership and possession of the object pass to the buyer upon signing the deed of sale. The time for signing the deed of sale will be agreed with the buyer after the separate sales decision made by the City of Helsinki in the matter has become legally valid (approximately 21 days). The purchase price must be paid no later than at the signing meeting, where a receipt for payment of the purchase price will in practice be presented.

The buyer is responsible for transfer tax.

Bidding period

13 October 2026 – 8 December 2026

The bidding period starts on 13 October 2026 and ends on 8 December 2026 at 13:00 or three minutes after the last accepted bid. Bids are submitted on the Huutokaupat.com service by the specified time.

The auction can also be joined by submitting a written binding bid to the seller's representative by 10:00 on 3 December 2026. Submission of a written bid must be agreed in advance with the seller's representative. All bids will be registered as public in the listing. A written purchase offer is binding and is subject to the same conditions as the online auction. Buyers undertake to record all bids in the system.

The written purchase offer must be signed and state the bidder's contact details, the maximum bid and the listing number on the Huutokaupat.com service to which the bid relates.

The Urban Environment Division is not responsible for the functionality of the service provider's system. The highest bid is the bid that the service provider's system has accepted as the highest.

Bids submitted in the online auction are binding. If a bid is accepted, the bidder is obliged to pay the offered purchase price within the agreed payment period.

The City of Helsinki, Urban Environment Division, reserves the right to suspend the auction or extend the sales period.

Bids

The City of Helsinki, Urban Environment Division, reserves the right to request further information and clarifications from bidders and the right to reject all bids. All bidders will be informed of the buyer selection.

Conditions for accepting a bid

Acceptance of a bid requires that the buyer has no payment default entries in their credit records and that the buyer, the buyer's owning entity or the entity exercising control over the buyer is not subject to sanctions imposed by the European Union or the UN. By making a bid, the buyer confirms that they meet the above requirements.

Final acceptance of the bid also requires a separate sales decision by the competent official or body of the City of Helsinki.

Withdrawal from a bid

If a bidder withdraws from an accepted bid, they must compensate the seller for the costs arising from arranging the unsuccessful auction in an amount corresponding to 4% of the purchase price of the accepted bid.

If the highest bidder withdraws and the City of Helsinki offers the object to the second-highest bidder, and the second-highest bidder withdraws from the sale after the sales decision, a cancellation fee corresponding to 4% of the purchase price of the accepted bid will be charged.

Concluding the sale

The purchase price must be paid in full and the deed of sale signed within two months of the end of the auction, unless otherwise agreed with the seller.
