ABOUT IONISATION:
Negative ions produced in indoor air attach to light, positively charged particles suspended in the air. The resulting larger and heavier molecule quickly settles out of the breathing zone.

Negative ionisation also breaks down volatile organic compounds in the air, which are highly harmful when inhaled indoors. Toxic compounds produced by various microbes and mixed into indoor air as aerosols—microbial toxins—pose a serious health hazard when they enter the lungs and bloodstream. Heavy microbial toxins that do not mix into indoor air instead cause health risks only through spores, which produce these dangerous toxins.

The effectiveness of ozone (O3) and negative air ionisation is based on high concentrations.

When the device produces negative ions in addition to ozone, its effectiveness is 5–10 times better than ozone alone, and high concentrations efficiently remove spores and odours from porous materials such as sofas and bedding.

Fine particles in indoor air pose a serious health risk in homes and workplaces.

Ozonation and negative air ionisation are particularly effective in pressurised buildings.

Ozone and negative air ionisation together create compounds that efficiently remove microbial spores and various odours, such as sewer gases, smoke, bacterial and mould-toxin odours, and persistent odours caused by cooking and smoking.

Ozone and negative air ionisation also remove fine particles and MVOC (Microbial Volatile Organic Compound) and VOC (Volatile Organic Compound) compounds from the air.

Ozonation and negative air ionisation produce pleasant indoor air that is easy to breathe, making the space comfortable to occupy.

Ozone and negative air ionisation together also produce very clean indoor air in workplaces.

Indoor ozonation must not be carried out while people are present, as the space is exposed to high ozone concentrations to destroy microbial spores. The combined effect of a high ozone concentration and negative air ionisation also achieves good cleaning results in porous materials. After indoor-air treatment, the ozonated space must be ventilated before occupants may return.
