Now for sale: a like-new, high-quality car trailer, fully equipped!

German-made, hot-dip galvanised and zinc-coated, exceptionally strong and stable Humbaur FTKA2700 braked O2-class car trailer, WITH TIPPING BED!

The trailer is in like-new condition, dent-free and washed underneath and on top after every use. It has only been towed approximately 20 times, an estimated 1,000 km, so the tyres and overall condition are like new, apart from a few normal-use scratches on the platform; no dents.

The platform is an ideal size (4 m x 2 m). The wheels are positioned beneath the platform, making the trailer conveniently narrow as they do not extend beyond it. Its length is also ideal for transporting both larger, long-wheelbase and smaller passenger cars, while keeping the overall trailer length reasonable and making it easy to manoeuvre even in tight spaces.

Depending on the vehicle, the front axle can be driven right to the front edge of the platform, moving the weight distribution forwards and allowing the front bumper of a lower car to rest over the drawbar without problems.

The handy tipping function provides the shallow ramp angle needed for loading low cars onto and off the platform.

The platform has 5 cm-high front and side edges and a centre infill, also allowing other goods to be transported easily in addition to cars.

Additional equipment and other details (only stainless-steel parts used for modifications; all electrical wires protected with sleeving and connections soldered):

- The original jockey wheel (included) has been replaced with a Teopart adjustable support leg, allowing a long-fronted low car to be loaded over the drawbar right at the front of the platform.

- All spring pins on the trailer have been replaced with stainless-steel scissor pins that do not open due to vibration.

- Centre infill for the platform, made of waterproof plywood.

- Aluminium accessory box (strong enough to stand on).

- Winch mount, quickly transferable from one side of the trailer to the other depending on the towed vehicle’s towing point, allowing a straight pull.

- High-quality Knott winch, 1,150 kg, with 10 m of 6 mm cable, manual crank, spring-loaded mechanism, two gear ratios for different speeds and a locking pawl (ratios 4:1 and 8:1). It has pulled a 2-tonne car on board without difficulty.

- Additional LED reversing lights at the rear and a powerful LED work light on the drawbar, plus an IP68 switch panel.

(The work light can be switched on as a reversing light together with the rear lights, or all three lights can be switched on simultaneously as work lights).

- LED marker lights at the rear corners make the rear easier to judge when reversing in the dark; 4 yellow LED marker lights on the sides (last picture).

- 3 m of E-approved reflective tape.
