For sale: Rare and sporty MINI John Cooper Works Clubman 211 hp – please read the description carefully!

Now up for auction: a true driver's car and head-turner! The original MINI JCW Clubman, with a powerful 211-hp engine and 6-speed manual gearbox, offers legendary go-kart-like handling combined with the practicality of its distinctive estate body.

Important (engine fault): The car is sold for repair, as an engine fault has been detected. The car smokes and uses oil. According to the garage's assessment and suspicion, the cylinder-head valve stem seals need replacing. For this reason, the car requires a skilled mechanic before hard driving.

Plenty to like: Although the engine now requires attention, the car is otherwise an excellent project. It has been extensively serviced over the years, so many other areas have already been attended to. The car is also in very good condition cosmetically – the paintwork and JCW details are clean and presentable for its age.

Key equipment and highlights:

  • Comfort Access (keyless entry and start)

  • Xenon headlights

  • Sports seats

  • Engine block heater

  • JCW sports exhaust and suspension

Technical details:

  • Date first registered: 9 October 2009

  • Mileage: 136,000 km

  • Engine: 1.6 petrol (155 kW / 211 hp)

  • Gearbox: Manual, 6-speed

  • Drive: Front-wheel drive

  • Registration number: RRG-692

A great project for someone who understands these cars or a MINI enthusiast: with a modest engine rebuild, it can become a very fun and striking sports car for years to come.

Inspect the vehicle, bid boldly and make this JCW yours!
