ABOUT IONISATION:
Negative ions introduced into indoor air attach to light, positively charged particles suspended in the air, causing the resulting larger and heavier molecule to settle quickly, away from the breathing zone.

Negative ionisation also breaks down volatile organic compounds in the air, which are highly harmful when inhaled indoors. Toxic compounds produced by various microbes and mixed into indoor air as aerosols—microbial toxins—pose a serious health hazard when they enter the lungs and bloodstream unobstructed. Heavy microbial toxins that do not mix into indoor air cause health problems instead through the spores that produce these dangerous toxins.

The effectiveness of ozone (O3) and negative air ionisation is based on high concentrations.

When the device produces negative ions in addition to ozone, its effectiveness is 5–10 times better than ozone alone, and high concentrations efficiently remove spores and odours from porous materials, such as upholstered furniture and bed linen.

Fine particles in indoor air pose a serious health risk in homes and workplaces.

Harmful fine particles enter the bloodstream through breathing via the lower parts of the lungs (alveolar cells/alveoli) and cause serious health problems in addition to asthma and allergies.

Ozonation and negative air ionisation are particularly effective in pressurised buildings.

Ozone and negative air ionisation together create compounds that efficiently remove microbial spores and various odours, such as sewer gases, smoke odours, bacterial and mould toxin odours, and persistent odours caused by cooking and smoking.

Ozone and negative air ionisation also remove fine particles and MVOC (Microbial Volatile Organic Compound) and VOC (Volatile Organic Compound) compounds from the air.

Ozonation and negative air ionisation produce pleasant indoor air that is easy to breathe and creates a comfortable clean environment.
