ABOUT IONISATION:
Negative ions introduced into indoor air affect airborne, light, positively charged particles by attaching to them. The resulting larger and heavier molecule quickly settles down, away from the breathing zone.

Negative ionisation also breaks down volatile organic compounds in the air, which are highly harmful when inhaled indoors. Toxic compounds produced by various microbes and mixed into indoor air as aerosols—microbial toxins—pose a serious health risk when they enter the lungs and bloodstream. Heavy microbial toxins that do not mix with indoor air instead cause health risks only through spores, which produce these dangerous toxins.

The effectiveness of ozone (O₃) and negative air ionisation is based on high concentrations.

When the device produces negative ions as well as ozone, the effect is 5–10 times better than ozone alone, and high concentrations effectively remove spores and odours from porous materials such as sofas and bed linen.

Fine particles in indoor air pose a serious health risk in homes and workplaces.

Harmful fine particles enter the bloodstream through the lower parts of the lungs (alveolar cells/alveoli) when inhaled, causing serious health problems in addition to asthma and allergies.

    Ozonation and negative air ionisation are particularly effective in pressurised buildings.

    Ozone and negative air ionisation together create compounds that effectively remove microbial spores and various odours, such as sewer gases, smoke, bacterial and mould toxin odours, and persistent odours caused by cooking and smoking.
