The wire-free GARDENA smart SILENO free* robotic lawn mower is the perfect easy solution for lawn care. No boundary cable installation is required. Wire-free technology*, innovative AI-based LONA™ Intelligence* and two cutting decks ensure that this smart robotic lawn mower cuts lawn areas of up to 1,200 m² intelligently, efficiently and precisely.

Wire-free technology:

Set-up is quick, with no cables, antennas or beacons to install. Operating without a traditional boundary wire, the smart SILENO free robotic lawn mower uses satellite-based signals (GNSS Global Navigation Satellite Systems) and RTK. This enables the mower to determine its position accurately. The virtual boundaries of the mowing area are easy to define using the GARDENA Smart App*. No external antennas are required, and the Sileno Free is also completely free from data usage costs.

Using the Free requires an internet connection. The included Smart Gateway router connects to the home internet. Data transmission between the Gateway and the garden's Smart devices is based on radio-frequency technology.

Precise edge trimming – Trim-to-Edge: The SILENO free robotic lawn mower cuts efficiently and precisely within the virtual boundaries. For a neat, well-finished result, SILENO free cuts right next to solid walls, fences and borders without leaving a strip, conveniently turning around and using the cutting deck at the rear.

LONA™ Intelligence: Thanks to LONA™ Intelligence technology, your mower knows the shape of your lawn inside out. Using AI-based technology, the smart robotic mower learns, maps and adapts to individual gardens. You can monitor your Sileno's movements in the garden in real time, easily define no-go areas or mowing zones and set an individual mowing frequency for them – conveniently in the GARDENA Smart App*. This makes it easier to achieve precise mowing results now and in the future.

An anti-collision sensor is available as an accessory. Make your smart SILENO free robotic lawn mower even more complete with the anti-collision sensor (accessory, sold separately). This accessory helps protect the robotic lawn mower and the garden surroundings from collisions with obstacles in its path. It is very easy to install without tools.

Two cutting decks for a neat finish. Compared with models featuring a single cutting deck, the two cutting decks of the smart SILENO free robotic lawn mower ensure more efficient mowing and a more polished lawn. One cutting deck is positioned in the centre and the other at the rear.

For perfectly easy lawn care. Quiet and precise, SILENO free works in all weather conditions, in rain or sunshine. It can also mow slopes of up to 30%.

The delivery includes 1 x GARDENA smart SILENO free 1,500 m², 1 x charging station, 1 x Smart Gateway and 1 x virtual boundary installation aid.

*Using smart SILENO free, LONA™ Intelligence and the GARDENA Smart system requires GNSS reception (Global Navigation Satellite Systems), a sufficient internet connection and the GARDENA Smart App (recommended for use on a smartphone or tablet running iOS 17/Android 9 or later). For more information about using the apps and the terms, visit the GARDENA website.
