Here is a fine long-wheelbase Transporter, freshly inspected and well maintained!

Good-looking all round; the van’s overall condition easily matches one with half the mileage, as it has been well cared for and a great deal of wear-and-tear parts have been replaced.

Properly serviced recently, including new front brake discs and pads, both drive shafts, steering rack/tie rod and ends, lower control arms, etc.

The flywheel has also been replaced and is completely silent both when cold and warm.

The gearbox works perfectly: it does not slip, jerk or make any unusual noises.

And amazingly, the air conditioning works, as does the Webasto. So whether winter returns or summer arrives late, it will not bother the Transporter driver!

Defects and other observations

Far too good an example for its age, works excellently in every respect; even the air conditioning blows cold and the auxiliary heater works too!!!
