The boundary-wire-free GARDENA smart SILENO free* robot lawn mower is the easy solution for lawn care. Installing boundary wire is now a thing of the past. Boundary-free technology*, innovative AI-based LONA™ Intelligence* and two cutting discs ensure that this smart robot lawn mower cuts lawns of up to 1,200 m² intelligently, efficiently and precisely.

Boundary-free technology:

Setup is quick, with no cables, antennae or beacons to install. Operating without traditional boundary wire, the smart SILENO free robot lawn mower uses satellite-based signals (GNSS, Global Navigation Satellite Systems) and RTK. These enable the mower to determine its position precisely. The virtual boundaries of the cutting area are easy to define using the GARDENA Smart App*. No external antennae are required, and Sileno Free is also completely free from data usage costs.

Using Free requires an internet connection. The included Smart Gateway router connects to your home internet. Data transfer between the Gateway and the Smart devices in the garden is based on radio-frequency technology.

Precise edge trimming – Trim-to-Edge: The SILENO free robot lawn mower cuts efficiently and precisely within the virtual boundaries. For a neat, well-finished result, SILENO free cuts the lawn right next to solid walls, fences and boundaries without leaving a strip, conveniently pivoting and using the cutting disc at the rear.

LONA™ Intelligence: Thanks to LONA™ Intelligence technology, your mower knows the shape of your lawn inside out. Using AI-based technology, the smart robot mower learns, maps and adapts to individual gardens. You can follow your Sileno’s movements in the garden in real time, easily define no-go areas or cutting zones and set an individual cutting frequency for them – conveniently in the GARDENA Smart App*. This makes it easier to achieve precise cutting results now and in the future.

An anti-collision sensor is available as an accessory. Make your smart SILENO free robot lawn mower even more complete with the anti-collision sensor (optional accessory, sold separately). This accessory helps protect the robot lawn mower and its garden surroundings from collisions with obstacles in its path. Installation is very easy and requires no tools.

Two cutting discs for a neat finish. Compared with models equipped with a single cutting disc, the two cutting discs of the smart SILENO free robot lawn mower ensure more efficient mowing and a more refined lawn. One cutting disc is located in the centre and the other at the rear.

For effortless lawn care. Quiet and precise, SILENO free works in all weather conditions, whether rain or sunshine. It can also mow slopes of up to 30%.

The delivery includes 1 x GARDENA smart SILENO free 1,000 m², 1 x charging station, 1 x Smart Gateway and 1 x virtual-boundary installation aid.

*Using Smart SILENO free, LONA™ Intelligence and the GARDENA Smart system requires GNSS reception (Global Navigation Satellite Systems), a sufficient internet connection and the GARDENA Smart App (recommended for use on a smartphone or tablet running iOS 17/Android 9 or later). For more information about using the apps and the terms, visit the GARDENA website.
