Now your chance to bid on a rather special project: an unfinished car, apparently started in the USA in 2005 and only just arrived in Finland.

The car is self-propelled and started well, although the petrol is old (it smells). The engine runs well, with slight valve tapping (the valves need adjusting).

The gears and clutch also seem to work OK, but the brakes require attention.

The frame is solid, but the floor panels need repair. In particular, metal is missing from the front edge on the right-hand side (pictured). The boot is OK.

A new, almost complete white-and-red interior set is included. It appears very comprehensive and should make the interior look like new; a new floor carpet is also included.

The loose parts are pictured; there are several boxes. A quick inventory suggests that almost everything is present, except the right-hand side window, although other items may also be missing.

The exhaust system and fuel tank are new.

IN SHORT: some bodywork, paint, brake repairs and assembly are needed.

The paperwork is in order and customs-cleared. Start making your offers!

The price includes VAT at 25.5%.
