The Astronergy 425 W N5 is the best possible solar panel in terms of technology. Its annual power degradation is very low compared with earlier solar panel technology, meaning its calculated energy yield can be up to 20% better over its long service life. N-series solar panels have a 30-year power output warranty and a 12-year product warranty, considerably longer than previous-generation panels.

Astronergy 425 W N5 panel features:

Mechanical load capacity has been tested at 5,400 Pa on the front and 2,400 Pa on the rear. 5,400 Pa corresponds to over 550 kg/m² of load, so snow-load capacity is excellent. Glass thickness is 2 mm on both sides.

N-type cells are bifacial and use denser, more electrically conductive semiconductor materials.

In N-type panels, this has been addressed by using a non-reflective covering material on the cells, preventing the aforementioned microcurrents.

3 bypass/protection diodes divide one panel into several strings, allowing power generation even when part of the panel is shaded.
