Lankila Cultural Centre – Käppöstie 5, Nummela, Vihti

The Municipality of Vihti is selling by public auction an approximately 5,000 m² määräala of the Nummenranta property, located at Käppöstie 5 in the village of Lankila in the Nummela urban area. The area contains a building that operated as the Lankila Cultural Centre. The buildings located on the määräala are included in the sale. The exact boundaries will be surveyed; the attached map shows an indicative area. There is one valid lease agreement for the property, which will be transferred to the buyer upon completion of the sale.

The Nummenranta property, property register number 1:542 (property identifier 927-421-1-542), has an area of 318,161 m². An approximately 4,500 m² määräala, shown in more detail on the attached map, will be transferred from it. This includes the Lankila Cultural Centre and an extension building called “Viipale”. The main building has a floor area of approximately 1,134 m² and the extension 155 m². The areas have not been verified by measurement, and the actual area may be larger or smaller than stated.

The area is covered by the valid local detailed plan N102, Lankilanrinne local detailed plan and amendment, under which the property is designated as a block area for buildings serving educational activities and public local services (YO-4). Information about deviating from the use designated in the plan may be obtained from the building control department of the Municipality of Vihti.

The alarm and building automation systems on the property are not included in the sale. No movable property is included in the sale.

The property’s electricity costs in 2025 were €14,392, including electricity transmission.

The property’s heating costs (district heating) in 2025 were €14,011.

Technical details

The main building, Lankila Cultural Centre, was completed in 1982. The extension was completed in 1990. The buildings are founded on concrete footings and block foundation walls. They have ground-supported floor structures. The external walls are constructed of mineral-based materials and clad with brick. The roofs are low-pitched gable roofs covered with profiled sheet metal. The heat source is direct electric heating, distributed by electric radiators, radiant heaters and underfloor heating. The ventilation is mechanical.

The building is connected to the water supply and sewerage systems. District heating is supplied to the building and is used to heat supply air and domestic hot water. The water supply pipes are copper or composite, and the sewer pipes are plastic.

A condition survey was carried out on the property in September 2026. Please study the attached building condition survey report carefully. The property is sold in the condition and with the equipment described in the advertisement and present at the time of sale (excluding the tenant’s movable property). The building was constructed in accordance with the building regulations and standards applicable at the time of construction and may not comply with current building regulations and standards, for example with regard to its structures, thermal insulation, ventilation and waterproofing. Due to its age, use and construction methods of the period, the building may contain defects that were not identified during inspections or otherwise, as well as defects that arose after the inspections. As seller, the Municipality of Vihti is not liable for defects, damage or deficiencies that have been disclosed, could otherwise have been detected, or should have been detected during an inspection carried out by the buyer.
