A perfect opportunity for a skilled enthusiast to enter the world of MPS Mazdas. Unfortunately, due to the demands of everyday life and logistical reasons, I do not have time to repair the fault in the Mazda.

The problem is as follows: the engine warning light comes on after approximately 75–150 km of driving, and the fault code is P0012-FF, indicating a fault with the intake camshaft timing. The amusing thing is that, despite the fault, the car operates completely normally. It does not lose power, enter limp mode or otherwise misbehave in any way. The strongest suspicion regarding the root cause is the intake camshaft VVT timing actuator/camshaft sprocket, which is unable to build the correct oil pressure for the VVT to operate as it should. A loose timing chain or a fault with the chain tensioner have already been ruled out: the chain is correctly tensioned, and there are no rattles or other noises when cold or warm.

The car is therefore sold in fully working condition, but for repair!

The engine was extensively rebuilt 10,000 km ago at considerable expense, including the timing chain kit, piston rings, main bearings, cylinder head and turbocharger. All seals were naturally replaced at the same time, including the injector base seals. Service receipts and documentation for the engine rebuild are available. According to the previous owner, the clutch assembly was also replaced during the same work, but no purchase receipt was found, so this is based on their word only. The clutch feel is excellent.

In May, the right front lower control arm was replaced for the inspection, and earlier this year the engine oil and filter, spark plugs, air filter and cabin air filter were replaced. Next inspection due 05/2027.

The starter motor was replaced in 10/2025, and the air-conditioning was serviced in autumn 2025. Printouts from the digital service history and other service receipts are available. The winter tyres are studless and in fair condition, and there are two keys.

The car is fitted with a touchscreen Android head unit with Bluetooth, live data monitoring via the OBD socket, etc. The radio currently does not work, possibly due to the aerial cable. The original head unit is included.
