The reason I bought and needed this vehicle fell through, so I have no use for it.

According to the last inspection report, it was only supposed to have a couple of rust spots, but the inspector must have been a good friend, as quite a few things were overlooked.

Taken for inspection on 4 September

-Hole in the subframe, must be replaced

-Right front wheel bearing is noisy, must be replaced

-Handbrake performance weak; certainly needs freeing up, as it passed at the May inspection. It has been standing since then.

-Oil leak, apparently from underneath, perhaps the sump gasket etc. Engine is dry from above.

-Rear light cracked, repaired with tape; hard to notice, if at all.

Faults found at the May inspection that have been repaired

-Control arm bush replaced

-Welding repairs carried out

The car has not been driven since then, and the following have also been repaired

-Number plate lights did not work; housings were missing and new ones were obtained.

-Additional brake lights were missing; fitted.

-Locks did not work; repaired

-Left driveshaft joint was knocking; replaced

-Steering rack had play; replaced

-Right driveshaft joint replaced

-Outer and inner tie-rod ends replaced

-Car and headlamps lightly polished.

There are some good points too

A block heater with a water pump appears to be fitted, although its operation is unknown.

Starts easily and runs smoothly. Emissions are good.

Electric windows work; the radio has no reception as the aerial appears to be broken, but a phone can be connected via Bluetooth.

Relatively new tyres, date code approximately 20/25

Washer fluid does not reach the passenger side; hose nipple is broken. This was not mentioned at the inspection.

I do not know whether the turbocharger adjustment works, but a 65 hp vehicle can hardly be brisk.

I only tested enough to confirm that the turbocharger spins, and no warning lights are on.

Wheel alignment has not been carried out; it was aligned by eye. The car drives straight, but the steering wheel is naturally crooked. I do not recommend driving unnecessarily before alignment.
