Drawbacks:

  • The engine is leaking water into the oil. The good thing is that it has not been started since this was noticed.

  • In Triumph’s three-cylinder engine, the cylinder liners are separate metal tubes. They are called wet cylinder liners because coolant comes into direct contact with their outer surfaces.

  • There are O-rings at the bottom of the liner that seal it to the engine block. Their purpose is to prevent coolant from entering the engine oil.


This part of the engine has apparently failed. For this reason, it is sold for repair. Even a test start is not recommended
