A true rarity. To our knowledge, this is the only one in Finland, and no other is forthcoming. Manufactured in England in 1959 with a Fordson Major engine. After this machine, BRAY loaders were made using Nuffield technology and four-wheel drive. A photograph of this particular machine can be found on the Bray website, and Konedata records it as having been imported to Finland in 1959.

The machine is fully operational, but not in museum condition. The tyres are old and cracked, but hold air; chains are also included for protection. The loader and bucket remain in position (tested for over 2 days without lowering, naturally thanks to the cylinder seals replaced by us and the new hydraulic oil). Loader

operates using the front pump, visible in the latest photographs when we changed the alternator and power-assistance belts.

The engine oil and oil filter have also been changed, as has the antifreeze. The engine has no leaks, runs beautifully and starts well. Equipment includes a hose heater, power steering and disc brakes fitted in Finland. The cab has a heater and a manual windscreen wiper.


In the photographs: two new ones, as we are currently doing earthmoving. So it is not merely a snow machine, but in English a “Loader”.
