A fantastic addition to Tampere Kamux’s auction line-up: a 2006 Opel Astra estate with modest mileage and an MOT valid well into late winter, until 2 March 2026. This practical family wagon comes with Finnish favourites – a tow bar, engine block heater with an interior socket, and studded winter tyres in decent condition! There are a few minor signs of use on the body and some small areas of corrosion at the front corners, but these should not affect the driving of a car of this age! The previous owner used the car daily for around five years. The listing was made by someone from Turku, Finland, so I have not had the honour of testing the car myself, but fortunately you have the opportunity! The auction ends on Saturday 3 October at 19:00, so you are very welcome to come to Lakalaiva in large numbers to test and inspect the Opel before the auction ends!

During the test drive, we noted the following:


  • The Tampere team tested it and the Turku team prepared the listing! Apparently it drives quite nicely, but that information did not make it all the way to Turku. We can therefore state that the car has not been tested, but you can test it yourself before the auction ends.

  • Minor cosmetic issues on the body, but it is in sensible condition for its age

  • 2 sets of tyres; the winter tyres are good
