Renault Trafic 2.5 DTI, 2007, Kuopio

For auction: an affordable VAT-deductible van, winter conqueror and reliable workhorse, a Renault Trafic with a large 2.5-litre turbocharged engine. This is a lively-running example, and the VAT is deductible for businesses. Air conditioning and a fuel-powered heater are fitted, but the latter does not work. The inspection is valid until April. Both sets of tyres are in decent condition and the vehicle is ready for work. It was driven to us by its driver from the other side of Finland. See the pictures, read the listing and place your bid.

Mechanics
- The vehicle has had a short test drive and visual inspection. Please note that it has covered high mileage, so its condition reflects the kilometres.
- The engine is a 2.2-litre turbocharged chain-driven unit. Oil and coolant levels are OK, and the coolant is clear. Running noise is normal and it starts well. No warning lights.
- Six-speed manual gearbox. Feels normal and does not knock. The clutch feels slightly like a rubber ball, but does not slip and returns normally.
- Brakes are OK and it stops properly. It may have indicated worn brake pads.
- Electrical equipment works. The auxiliary heater has not been tested. The air conditioning appears to cool. The tailgate works. The refrigeration unit does not work; the fault is unknown, or it may not have been operated correctly.

Body, interior and windscreen
- The body is in decent condition for the mileage. There are signs of use and some faults, but relatively few.
- The interior has some issues, particularly the driver's seat.
- Windscreen is OK. Slightly worn, with no cracks or significant stone chips.

Servicing and history:
- Originally sold in Finland. No public accident history or equivalent. Owned by the same user-owner from 2014 to 2022, by the next owner from 2022 to 2025, and by the last owner from then until September 2025.
- Service history is OK. Timing is chain-driven.  Last serviced in July at 439,000 km. Other entries, in thousands of kilometres: 421, 413, 299, 247, 211, 139, 89, 50. Some entries were written in by the owner.

Equipment and delivery:
- Supplied with one key, two sets of wheels, and the owner's and service manuals. Summer and winter tyres on steel rims, with 7–8 mm tread
