The car does not pass emissions testing and shows emissions-related fault code P0420. The warning light returns every around 250 km. The catalytic converter and lambda sensor work and the exhaust system does not leak. The catalytic converter was replaced in the summer because it was stolen. It burns oil and leaks a little. The leak location is unknown. It only smokes when pulling away in first gear and when reversing. A leak-down test was also carried out on the cylinders and all cylinders had good readings, so piston ring leakage cannot be suspected. The most likely cause of the warning light is worn valve stem seals. The dipstick is also partly coffee-coloured, but it does not burn coolant.

Overall, very well maintained and in very good condition both outside and inside. The car was brought to Finland from Germany last April, and I have owned it for exactly one year now. It passed inspection in April this year. The underside and paintwork have remained in really good condition, and according to the previous owner the car has spent all winters in a warm garage and was only used in the summer.

The oil, rear brake pads and brake discs have just been replaced.

• The engine has also had a new eccentric shaft and valve cover gasket fitted.

• The rear silencer, catalytic converter and rear wheel bearings were replaced in the summer.

• At the last service in the spring, in addition to routine maintenance, the brake fluid, fuel filter, coolant and transmission oil were changed.

• In winter, the spark plugs and ignition coils were also replaced.

• Passed inspection on 10.4.2026
