Freshly auctioned Ford Focus, just inspected, with the desirable 1.6 engine, looking for its next owner! The car has come in part exchange from daily use. It has also been serviced regularly and, on top of that, it has just passed inspection (the inspection resulted in a couple of repair advisories, see pictures).
According to the previous owner, the car has recently developed an issue where the transmission occasionally goes into fault mode. This has not been investigated further. Kamux drove the car for approx. 160 km, and the car does indeed sometimes display “transmission malfunction service now”, but it still runs and driving can continue. Switching the car off clears the fault, which returns again after driving for a while. No jerking has been noticed from the transmission, and otherwise it seems to operate normally, apart from the warning light.
