Thanks to the 45-degree feed angle of the Junkkari HJ252, the power requirement of the chipper is low for its size. The wood is fed diagonally to the disc, allowing the blades’ cutting action to achieve the best possible efficiency. In optimal conditions, the HJ252 chipper can chip up to 30 m3 per hour.

The HJ252 model is equipped with two horizontal feed rollers. The advantage of two feed rollers is especially evident with light, branchy material, which it can feed efficiently towards the disc. In the G model, the rollers are powered by the tractor’s hydraulics, and their speed can be adjusted steplessly with a valve on the chipper.
