Engine fault

It has been suspected that water entered the engine through the exhaust manifolds, but this has not been confirmed. The buyer should therefore be prepared for the possibility of more extensive damage in the engines.

The engines' auxiliaries and other peripheral equipment are reportedly functional. The engines also ran after the water ingress. The oil has been changed several times to remove water. Glycol has been pumped into the cooling systems to prevent further damage.

After the fault, the boat has been stored ashore for about two years.

The actual condition of the engines or the repair needs have not been examined since then, so the seller cannot confirm what restoring the engines will require. The buyer should take this into account when making an offer.
