Defects and other observations

The car was driven on a short test drive, during which we noticed:



  • When the car was taken in as a trade-in, the engine warning light was on. The fault codes were cleared and the car was test driven. The light did not come on again.

  • According to the previous owner, there is an issue with the turbo. It has also been taken to a repair shop for inspection. When lifting off the accelerator, a slight whistling sound can be heard from the engine. It also emitted smoke from the exhaust when the car was cold-started.

  • Feels sound to drive. No rattling or knocking.

  • The clutch engages a little high.

  • Good tyres.
