Volkswagen Transporter, 2001, Loimaa

This is a good T4 that was meant to be used for trips, but due to changes in life circumstances it has to be sold. A normal panel van. The bench/bed in the cargo area is not permanently installed.

A fully working T4 2.5 TDI with 75 kW and automatic transmission. Technically in working order. Well equipped (listed below). Summer tyres with 6 mm tread and studded winter tyres with 8 mm tread, both on alloy wheels.

Clean inside. Minor surface rust on the outer panels, but generally tidy. Underbody is good.

Recent maintenance:

• Timing belt and rollers, water pump, injection pump belt and rollers on 26/08/2022 at 156,000 km.

• Battery on 19/09/2024 at 174,000 km.

• Gearbox oil and filter on 05/11/2025 at 184,000 km.

• Engine oil and filter on 16/06/2026 at 187,000 km.

As with any older car, there are of course a few things to mention:

• According to the service book, the instrument cluster was replaced in 2016 at 285,000 km with one showing 163,000 km, so the true mileage is approximately ~320,000 km. The mileage is not fully certain, but this is the conclusion based on the service book.

• Some surface rust on the outer panels

• The ignition lock is somewhat worn, so the key may not come out easily.

• The engine weeps a little oil

• The automatic transmission may sometimes think a moment before shifting, but generally works well.

Fairly well equipped, plus a few added extras, so here is the list:

• Air conditioning

• Front electric windows

• Cruise control

• Central locking with key

• Electric mirrors

• Rear heater

• Seat heaters

• Passenger airbag

• Webasto (does not start; issue not investigated)

• Armrests on driver and passenger seats

• Swivel plates on driver and passenger seats

• Map reading light on passenger side

• Auxiliary battery with isolator relay

• Cargo area lined

• Bull bar

• Roof racks

• Sun visor on windscreen

• Additional registration plate acquired, e.g. for a bike rack
