Apple Mac Studio M3 Ultra (2025) - 512 GB RAM - 2 TB Storage - Available now in Vaasa, Vaasa

ALmnorth Oy is selling our Mac Studio M3 Ultra 512 GB.

We have been using this machine at Almnorth Oy for our secure, offline AI device. It has served us so well that we are now saving money to buy dedicated professional hardware.

512 GB RAM version:

• It allows larger models such as GLM 5.3 Flash and Deepseek V4.1 Flash... (250 GB models) to be loaded with reasonable performance.

• Qwen 3.8-27B runs at about 70 t/s, which is perfectly within the range of Claude and ChatGPT speeds (and quality).

• It is also useful for loading multiple models at once in VRAM, so you can adapt your usage (small models are always faster, and with 512 GB, you can load a couple of those at once).

We have been using it to process our confidential documents, so we now have a safe place to use LLMs without worrying.

The 512 GB variant was removed from Apple's website in 03/2026 (due to RAM shortages).

This is probably the cheapest device with 512 GB of VRAM currently, at least with that level of power efficiency (it is quiet, and consumes about 5 W when idle).
