A Chevrolet Corvette Stingray LS4 T-top Deluxe 1974, representing Corvette’s third and, in many people’s opinion, most beautiful generation, is up for auction. The car was
first registered on 30.11.1973. Original big block model, well equipped. About this example, it cannot be said that it is beautifully preserved - because the car has been thoroughly gone through. It could be driven straight to a show. On the road, the car is in a completely different league to drive than an original Corvette has been. And not least because of the significantly increased power, but also thanks to substantially improved handling and ride comfort. The car’s original unassisted old-fashioned steering has been replaced with a modern assisted Steeroids rack-and-pinion system. Thanks to this, the car is pleasant, light and agile to handle. Although the car has been extensively improved, it has still been kept looking as original as possible.

The car is suitable even for everyday driving, or for the strip - the automatic transmission adds comfort to cruising and, if needed, shifting can also be done manually. It runs on regular 98 petrol. It has comfort equipment, and the roof can be removed for the perfect summer feel. Light and agile to handle. It will definitely turn heads, and the deep rumble of the big block will make the ground tremble!

Original front/rear valance panels replaced with more durable fibre-made parts.

Bonnet with 11 cm scoop (original bonnet included).

Front spoiler replaced with a model that provides better cooling.

Body and chassis bushes replaced with HD-type. As well as springs, dampers, disc brakes, brake parts and bearings etc.

Rear control arms replaced with models that allow wider tyres.

Steeroids rack-and-pinion steering conversion kit, greatly improving drivability.

Auburn differential carrier 4.11, limited-slip diff. ratio 3.9

454 GM aftermarket, 0.30 oversized (461 cid)
Edelbrock aluminium cylinder heads and intake manifolds
Forged pistons
Mild roller camshaft (3000-6200 rpm)
Aluminium water pump and radiator

Demon 850 carburettor
MSD ignition, with 6AL box and rev limiter
Exhaust, 2" primaries, with 4" collector and side pipes
Mechanical viscous-coupled fan replaced with two electric fans

Compression 10.8 - so it runs on regular 98 petrol
All parts bought new.

GM TH400 3-speed automatic
For street use and the track
9.5" torque converter
Stall speed 3200 rpm
Transmission has its own oil cooler, with washable filter.

The original gear selector, after the modifications, retains the original appearance and also allows manual shifting if desired.
