Ion production requires an ioniser device inside the unit. The ozone plates do not produce it.

ABOUT IONISATION:
Negative ions produced in indoor air affect the destruction of light, positively charged particles floating in the air by attaching to them, after which the resulting larger and heavier molecule quickly settles down, away from the breathing zone.

Negative ionisation also breaks down volatile organic compounds in the air, which are very harmful when inhaled from indoor air. Toxic compounds produced by several microbes and mixed into indoor air as aerosols = microbial toxins, cause a very massive health hazard when they reach the lungs unobstructed and from there the bloodstream. Heavy microbial toxins that do not mix into indoor air, on the other hand, cause health harm only through spores, which are the producers of these dangerous toxins.

The effectiveness of ozone (O3) and negative ionisation of the air is based on high concentrations.

When the device produces negative ions in addition to ozone, the effect compared with ozone alone is 5-10 times better, and high concentrations also remove spores and odours effectively from porous materials, for example sofa sets and bedding.

Small particles in indoor air pose a serious threat to health in homes and workplaces.

Harmful fine particles travel with breathing into the lower part of the lungs (alveolar cells / alveoli) into the bloodstream and cause serious health problems in addition to asthma and allergies.

    Ozonation and negative ionisation of the air work especially effectively in a pressurised building.

    Ozone and negative ionisation of the air together create compounds that can be used to efficiently remove microbial spores and various odours, for example sewer gases, smoke odours, odours from bacteria and mould toxins, stubborn odours caused by food preparation and smoking.

    Ozone and negative ionisation of the air also remove fine particles and MVOC = Microbial Volatile Organic Compound and VOC = Volatile Organic Compound compounds from the air.

    By ozonating and negatively ionising the air, you get pleasant indoor air that is easy to breathe, and in such a (clean) space it is good for people to be in.

    Ozone and negative ionisation of the air together produce very clean indoor air also for workspaces.

Indoor air ozonation cannot be carried out if people are present, because ozone is always produced in large amounts to destroy microbial spores. The combined effect of high ozone concentration and negative air ionisation achieves a good cleaning result also in porous materials.
