ABOUT IONISATION:
Negative ions produced in indoor air affect the destruction of light, positively charged particles floating in the air by attaching to them, causing the resulting larger and heavier molecule to fall quickly down, away from the breathing zone.

Negative ionisation also breaks down volatile organic compounds from the air, which are very harmful when inhaled in indoor air. Toxic compounds produced by many microbes and mixed into indoor air as aerosols = microbial toxins, pose a very serious health hazard if they enter the lungs unimpeded and through them the bloodstream. Heavy microbial toxins that do not mix with indoor air, on the other hand, only cause harm to health through spores, which are the producers of these dangerous toxins.

The effectiveness of ozone (O3) and negative ionisation of the air is based on high concentrations.

When the unit produces negative ions into the air in addition to ozone, the effect compared with ozone alone is 5–10 times better, and high concentrations remove spores and odours effectively also from porous materials, for example sofas and bed linen.

Fine particles in indoor air pose a serious health risk in homes and workplaces.

    Ozone and negative ionisation of the air together create compounds that can effectively remove microbial spores and various odours, for example sewer gases, smoke odours, bacterial and mould toxin odours, and stubborn odours caused by cooking and smoking.
