ABOUT IONISATION:
Negative ions produced in indoor air affect the destruction of light, positively charged particles floating in the air by attaching to them, after which the larger and heavier molecule formed quickly settles down, away from the breathing zone.

Negative ionisation also breaks down volatile organic compounds in the air, which are very harmful when inhaled from indoor air. Toxic compounds produced by many microbes and mixed into indoor air as aerosols = microbial toxins, pose a very serious health hazard if they get freely into the lungs and through them into the bloodstream. Heavy microbial toxins that do not mix into indoor air, on the other hand, only cause health harm through spores, which are the producers of these dangerous toxins.

The effectiveness of ozone (O3) and negative ionisation of air is based on high concentrations.

When the device produces negative ions in addition to ozone, the effect compared with ozone alone is 5–10 times better, and high concentrations effectively remove spores and odours also from porous materials, for example sofa sets and bed linen.

Fine particles in indoor air pose a serious threat to health in the indoor air of homes and workplaces.

Ozonation and negative ionisation of air works especially effectively in a pressurised building.

Ozone and negative ionisation of air together create compounds that can effectively remove microbial spores and various odours, for example sewer gases, smoke odours, bacterial and mould toxin odours, and stubborn odours caused by food preparation and smoking.
