ABOUT IONISATION:
Negative ions produced in indoor air affect the destruction of light, positively charged particles floating in the air by attaching to them, causing the resulting larger and heavier molecule to quickly settle down, away from the breathing zone.

Negative ionisation also breaks down volatile organic compounds in the air, which are highly harmful when inhaled from indoor air. Toxic compounds produced by many microbes and mixed into indoor air as aerosols = microbial toxins, pose a very serious health hazard if they get freely into the lungs and through them into the bloodstream. Heavy microbial toxins that do not mix into indoor air instead pose a health hazard only through spores, which are the producers of these dangerous toxins.

The effectiveness of ozone (O3) and negative ionisation of air is based on high concentrations.

When the device produces negative ions into the air in addition to ozone, the effect compared with ozone alone is 5-10 times better, and high concentrations also remove spores and odours effectively from porous materials, such as sofa sets and bedding.

    Ozonation and negative ionisation of air work especially effectively in a pressurised building.

    Ozone and negative ionisation of air together create compounds that can effectively remove microbe spores and various odours, for example sewer gases, smoke odours, odours from bacteria and mould toxins, and stubborn odours caused by food preparation and smoking.

    Ozone and negative ionisation of air also remove fine particles and MVOC = Microbial Volatile Organic Compound and VOC = Volatile Organic Compound compounds from the air.
