Now is the time to let my trusted workhorse move on to its next owner, but the fuel prices just don’t allow driving a diesel anymore. Still, this one is taxed at under €600, so there’s that.

I’ve owned it for just over a year, and before that it was with a very thorough middle-aged man.

I’ve driven the car myself for 22,000 km, but I have still had the engine oil and filter changed 3 times.

Timing belt, water pump, tensioner, multi-rib belt and its tensioner, etc. were replaced at 458,000 km.

Within the last three years the car has had a new original-quality alternator, EGR valve and its pipes, starter motor, battery, handbrake wiring loom, etc. replaced.

Just changed: engine oil + filter (Comma 0W-20), air filter, cabin filter, brake fluid, windscreen, fuel filter, front and rear brake discs and pads, right wheel bearing, and the complete right driveshaft.

Unfortunately, the car only comes with the brand-new Nokian Hakka Black 3 summer tyres below (€1,400), as the car came to me with almost worn-out studless winter tyres on these beautiful 18" alloy wheels.

There are documents for all the work carried out. The only downside is that the service book is now hidden somewhere very well, but fortunately I took photos of the receipts and the service book in good time.

This has been the most reliable car I’ve owned, with fuel consumption of just over 4 L/100 km on longer trips. The gearbox shifts like new and the interior is very spacious; I’m 182 cm tall and even a child seat fits well.

Notable equipment includes Pilot Assist, meaning it steers itself, adaptive cruise control, black leather interior, heated seats, auxiliary heater, etc.

The only downside is that it sometimes reports a fault with the left rear light, but not in dry weather. This is a common fault on these.

I have also tinted the rear lights and removed the tailgate badges and rear wiper; the wiper is included.
