Defects and other observations

The car came from an elderly lady from daily use, and during the test drive a warning light came on. The codes were cleared and a longer drive was taken so it did not come back on at all. Otherwise the car seemed technically sound. The air conditioning blew cold and the Webasto starts! According to the previous owner, the remote central locking works sporadically; in our tests it did not work at all. The doors can be locked and unlocked with the key.


  • Several warning lights during the test drive, codes were cleared and the car was taken for a longer run; the warning lights did not return. ABS and traction control lights, so could there have been an issue with the wheel speed sensor? Not investigated further

  • Signs of use and early rust spots are present, as usual in cars like this!

  • Tear in the driver's seat
