The Makita LXT DLM530Z is a highly efficient battery lawn mower, with a robust steel frame, soft start and a brushless motor ensuring worry-free use for a long time. In addition, the motor has a brake, so when the start lever is released, the blade stops quickly, improving safety. This eco-friendly Makita mower has a cutting width of 53 cm and a maximum recommended cutting area of 2000 m², making it suitable for maintaining even larger lawns. Batteries and charger for the bare tool version are sold separately.

In addition to being maintenance-free and not using fuel, one of the biggest advantages of a battery-powered mower is its quiet operation, so mowing does not create significant noise pollution in the yard or neighbourhood. For especially quiet mowing, the DLM530Z has a quiet mowing mode that limits the motor speed (2500 minˉ¹). In automatic mode, the motor runs at either a lower or higher speed depending on the grass being cut, thereby maximising battery capacity.

Large ball-bearing wheels make the machine easy to move. The coated handle also adds comfort during use. On the Makita battery mower, cutting height can be centrally adjusted with a single lever, allowing you to quickly and easily set the machine according to the terrain.

The splash-proof Makita battery mower has three alternative cutting methods: side discharge, collection and mulching. The collector capacity is 70 litres. The container has a grass level indicator, so you know when it needs to be emptied. In the popular mulching mode, grass clippings remain inside the cutting deck longer and are finely chopped until they return to the lawn, where they turn into natural fertiliser.

This emission-free battery lawn mower uses two separately sold 18 V batteries connected in series as its power source. The batteries are fitted side by side in separate battery slots, allowing the machine to operate with 36 V performance. The mower also has space for two spare batteries, i.e. four batteries in total. The batteries have overload, overheating and deep discharge protection. The control panel on the push handle and the batteries have convenient charge level indicators.
