An economical harvester head for small contracting jobs
The pulse harvester is a reliable tool for forest owners or small contractors. Working with a pulse harvester is productive and forest-friendly. The width in felling position is only 80 cm, so handling in young forest is effortless. The Naarva S25 works with an oil flow of up to 40 l/min, so no extra hydraulics are needed for the tractor or excavator, and installation can be done without additional hoses. All functions are operated with the loader grab open/close valve. The functions are cutting, tilt (felling), pulse delimbing and delimbing speed-up.

Radio control enables free 360-degree rotation of the pulse harvester, which speeds up work in tight first thinnings and reduces maintenance points as the boom cable is eliminated.

An automatic feed with relay control is also available as an option. When the pulse delimbing button and the “grab closed” function are on, the pulse repeats the delimbing movements automatically.

Effortless and durable guillotine cutting
Cutting is handled by a patented 25 cm guillotine cutting diameter, which is durable and easy to maintain even in demanding conditions. The claws wrap around the tree during cutting, and the blade made of 8 mm wear steel cuts through the tree completely.

The cutting surface is smooth and even, because cutting is always carried out against the support claws. The guillotine slides in its own track and does not strain the pulse harvester’s other structures, even when cutting thick timber. The blade does not damage or dull easily, so stumps can safely be cut low. Short stumps save tractor tyres and no saleable wood is left in the stump. Maintenance of the Naarva pulse harvester mainly consists of greasing the joints.
