ABOUT IONISATION:
Negative ions generated in indoor air affect the destruction of light, positively charged particles floating in the air by attaching to them, whereupon the resulting larger and heavier molecule quickly settles down, away from the breathing zone.

Negative ionisation also breaks down volatile organic compounds in the air, which are very harmful when inhaled from indoor air. Toxic compounds produced by many microbes and mixed into indoor air as aerosols = microbial toxins, pose a very serious health hazard when they reach the lungs unhindered and from there the bloodstream. Heavy microbial toxins that do not mix into indoor air instead cause health problems only through spores, which are the producers of these dangerous toxins.

The effectiveness of ozone (O3) and negative ionisation of the air is based on high concentrations.

When the device produces negative ions in addition to ozone, the effect is 5-10 times better than ozone alone, and the high concentrations remove spores and odours effectively even from porous materials, for example sofas and bed linen.
