Unto "Nivala Bear" Hautalahti later won several Finnish road racing championships during his career and represented Finland at the Rome Olympics in 1960. This trophy dates directly from the years of his national breakthrough.

Reijo Myyryläinen is a multiple TUL champion and a legend of the sport, who in his trophy year of 1960 also won the prestigious Hyrylä Races.
