ABOUT IONISATION:
Negative ions produced in indoor air affect the destruction of light, positively charged particles floating in the air by attaching to them, causing the resulting larger and heavier molecule to quickly settle down and out of the breathing zone.

Negative ionisation also breaks down volatile organic compounds in the air, which are very harmful when inhaled from indoor air. Toxic compounds produced by many microbes and mixed into indoor air as aerosols = microbial toxins, pose a very significant health hazard when they enter the lungs unhindered and through them the bloodstream. Heavy microbial toxins that do not mix with indoor air instead cause health hazards only through spores, which are the producers of these dangerous toxins.

The effectiveness of ozone (O3) and negative ionisation of air is based on high concentrations.

When the unit produces negative ions into the air in addition to ozone, the effect compared with ozone alone is 5-10 times better, and high concentrations also remove spores and odours effectively from porous materials, such as sofa sets and bed linens.
