The Makita LXT DLM530Z is a highly capable cordless lawn mower, with a robust steel body, soft start and a brushless motor that ensure trouble-free use for a long time. In addition, the motor has a brake, so when the start lever is released, the blade stops quickly, increasing safety. This environmentally friendly Makita mower has a cutting width of 53 cm and a maximum recommended cutting area of 2000 m², making it suitable for maintaining lawns on even large yards. Batteries and charger for the bare tool version are sold separately.

In addition to being maintenance-free and fuel-free, one of the biggest advantages of a cordless mower is its low noise level, so mowing does not cause significant noise pollution in the yard or neighbourhood. For especially quiet mowing, the DLM530Z has a quiet mode that limits the motor speed (2500 minˉ¹). In automatic mode, the motor runs at either a lower or higher speed depending on the grass being cut, thereby maximising battery capacity.

Large ball-bearing wheels make the machine easy to move. A coated handle adds extra comfort during use. On the Makita cordless mower, cutting height can be centrally adjusted with one lever, allowing you to quickly and easily set the machine according to the terrain.

The splash-proof Makita cordless mower has three cutting methods: side discharge, collection and mulching / shredding. The grass collector has a volume of 70 litres. The collector has a cutting debris level indicator, so you know when it needs emptying. In the popular mulching, or bio-cutting, method, grass clippings stay inside the cutting deck for longer and are finely chopped until they return to the lawn, where they turn into natural fertiliser.

The emission-free cordless mower is powered by two 18 V batteries sold separately, connected in series. The batteries are fitted side by side in separate battery compartments, enabling the machine to operate with 36 V performance. The mower also has space for two spare batteries, i.e. four batteries in total. The batteries have overload, overheat and over-discharge protection. Convenient charge indicators are located on the control panel in the push handle and on the batteries.
