It’s time to put up for sale one of the nicest cars I’ve driven in a long time, and I’ve driven many. Cars like this simply offer such comfortable rides and great handling that you’d need an expensive car to match it.

M-Sport equipped Finnish car, no accident history, driven 206,000 km. All equipment works, and there’s quite a lot of it: air conditioning, cruise control, four-wheel drive, detachable tow bar, sunroof, rain sensor, heated and electrically adjustable front seats, parking sensors, onboard computer, among others.

What it didn’t have from the factory was navigation and proper music playback. The head unit has been replaced with a Mask-2 unit with navigation, a GPS antenna installed, and it has been coded into the car. A high-quality Audison BMW speaker set bought from Fanatic, and an Alpine PXE-C80-88 DSP amplifier, installed inside the car so it stays warm indoors in winter before “hard driving”. Some install it in the boot, but I prefer inside. I’d argue it sounds better than any original factory option. The Alpine connects directly via Bluetooth, so the sound quality is excellent. It can be adjusted with a phone app, a PC, or a remote control stored in the glove compartment.

It had two owners before us, who really took care of the car. Photos from the service book are included, and the timing chain and related parts were replaced last April.

It is genuinely quite neat overall, but I have taken photos of the scratches on the driver’s wing as well as the scratches on the summer wheels; those are the biggest cosmetic flaws. No rust.

The interior is also in very neat condition apart from age-related wear.

Summer tyres were fitted for this summer, and the winter tyres are Michelin studded tyres in OK condition on OZ Racing wheels.
