This slightly wider alder bench plank is an excellent choice for sauna benches, as it withstands temperature changes without cracking.

It stays dimensionally stable and also withstands moisture and heat well. Smooth and pleasant to the touch, alder bench planks are very comfortable to sit on, as the surface does not get hot even in intense sauna heat.


The popular alder has a warm, reddish colour and gives off a mild, authentic wood scent. If desired, alder can be treated in the way you prefer, for example with paraffin oil.


The batch may include bench planks with waney edge, natural colour variation and knots

Commercial grade products may have scratches, dents or damage caused by storage.
