22-tonne pneumatic jack

Part of the point-lift group, designed to lift a vehicle along a vertical axis. The jack operates with compressed air, which drives a hydraulic pump producing pressure in the hydraulic cylinder. The pressure rise pushes the telescopic section of the actuator upward; a pressure drop lowers it. Another important design feature is the lift length, which affects ease of use when accessing vehicles with hard-to-reach support points. Such jacks are fitted with wheels for manoeuvring on site. Lighter, portable versions are also available for service vehicles.

With the fitted lubrication system the friction between interacting surfaces is reduced, decreasing wear and protecting against corrosion. The oil often also acts as a coolant.

These jacks are used for maintenance of lorries, buses, agricultural machines and armoured military vehicles.

The unit comes with two extra tips to extend the lift height. Road wheels allow easy transportation.

The lifting handle can be set in three positions for improved ergonomics.
