Ranch V2 Pro 9 m Snow Rake, Mikkeli

The Ranch V2 Pro snow rake is an updated version of the previous model. The aluminium grade has been upgraded to 6061 and the material thickness increased. With this snow rake you can remove snow from the roofs of tall houses as well as barns and fabric halls. The rake works best on frozen snow and slushy snow but, when used correctly, can also remove small amounts of ice. Even on steep roofs, work is always safe from ground level.

Snow accumulating on a roof during winter causes various problems as it melts and refreezes, which is why removal is often necessary. Temperature changes between freezing and thaw can make the weight of the snow damage roofing structures and cause costly damage. As the weather warms, a thin empty space often forms under the snow layer, into which melting water can penetrate the roof structure and cause substantial water damage. Fixings for snow guards and roof ladders are also heavily stressed when frozen snow builds up. Falling snow from roofs is dangerous to people and property.

The operating range of the snow rake depends on the user and the number of extension sections and is 1.5–11 metres. Maximum pole length 9 m. The cutting edge of the snow-cutting frame is designed so that the cutting blade does not touch the roof. The underside fastenings are fitted with rounded heads. Snow cut into slices slides down a chute. Thanks to its sturdy aluminium construction the snow rake withstands heavy use better than its predecessor. Operates in both directions: removes snow when pushed and when pulled.
