Dart GT with a 440 cu in (≈7.2 L) engine. Gearbox rebuilt as a TF727 with manual machining; torque converter also renewed (I believe ~2300 rpm stall). Rear axle 8 3/4 with a locker and 4.11 ratio.


The engine is slightly upgraded: 440 with a mild cam, Holley 750 cfm carburettor, and sheet‑metal kits.


The body is not flawless — the paint is reportedly over 30 years old so there will certainly be things to note. The so‑called “mastic roof” imitates vinyl fairly well and is acceptable to the eye. The underside is surprisingly solid sheet metal for a Finnish car; it has been welded but is not a patchwork.


There are bits to tinker with but it is nevertheless fully roadworthy — e.g. the wheel alignment should be adjusted, the exhaust manifold leaks slightly, the inside of the boot needs painting, and the usual items you’d expect on a 55‑year‑old car.
