Extremely rare black-powder falling-block lever-lock pistol, c. 1870–1885.

Genuine; no purchase permit required.

Operates with black-powder cartridges, possibly a shortened rifle cartridge.

Length c. 28 cm, calibre roughly 11 mm, rifled.

Mechanism works: the breech opens and the pistol cocks when the lower lever is pushed forward,

the extractor functions too; cartridge in, return the lever under the grip and fire.

May be in firing condition but no guarantee.

Original pistol, not a rifle conversion!!

Likely from an Afghan or similar arms workshop — a higher-quality piece, not a crude makeshift... such extreme machines weren't made in the West.

Some markings and numbers suggest around 1880.
