22-tonne pneumatic jack

Belongs to the group of point lifts designed to raise a vehicle along its vertical axis. The jack is powered by compressed air, which drives a hydraulic pump to produce pressure in the hydraulic cylinder. The rise in pressure causes the actuator's telescopic section to extend upwards; a pressure drop makes it lower. Another important design feature is the length of the jack, which affects ease of use when lifting vehicles with hard-to-reach support points. Such jacks are fitted with wheels for manoeuvring. Portable versions for mobile use are also available; these are much lighter and smaller and easy to carry in a service vehicle.

A fitted lubrication system reduces friction between contacting surfaces, decreasing wear and protecting against corrosion. Oil also often serves as a coolant.

These jacks are used in maintenance of lorries, buses, agricultural machinery and armoured military vehicles.

The unit is supplied with two additional tips that extend the lifting height. Road wheels allow easy transport.

The operating handle can be adjusted to three positions for improved working comfort.
