Ford Focus C-Max, 2004, Janakkala

Tested on about a 200 km drive and found to run well on the road. During the drive the air conditioning and cruise control worked, and the electric windows and mirrors operated. Central locking works from the key (1 key). Drives fine, though there may be a slight vibration from the front brake discs. Interior is a bit scruffy, but generally intact. The ashtray lid appears to be missing; otherwise a quick clean should be fine. No tobacco smell in the car. The space in this C‑Max is quite generous. Oils and fluids seem to be where they should be and there are no major leaks evident. This is a roomy, AIR‑CONDITIONED summer car — inspection valid for nearly a year.

NOTE! No detailed inspection has been carried out, so some faults may exist. You are welcome to view the car on site and test drive it to get a full impression.

During the approx. 200 km test drive the following was noted:

• Air conditioning switched on and produced cold air

• Cruise control worked

• Electric windows (front only) worked

• Electric mirrors worked

• Drives reasonably well, basic functions in order

Equipment also includes a towbar and an engine block heater with interior heater, but these were not tested for functionality

Only one key (remote locking works from the key)

One set of tyres: Michelin on alloy wheels with 3–5 mm tread

Visually observed faults:

• Rust and paint damage on all lids and panels, as commonly found on these

• Repair paintwork on all doors

• Longitudinal dent on the right roof pillar

• Windscreen cracked at the upper right corner (does not appear to significantly obstruct view)

• Left headlight cover would benefit from polishing

• Front brake discs cause slight vibration under braking
