A neat and proper Audi with a minor blemish on the Traficom records from 2013, when the car was written off and reclaimed by an insurance company. Some bodywork has been lightly straightened, and otherwise it's ready for more driving.


I didn't find any real problems during the test drive. Central locking works well. The car starts naturally and normally; there is no timing-chain rattle. The only note is that the running sound is low — the exhaust is probably leaking somewhere. The gearbox shifts as it should and the brakes feel normal. The steering is somewhat stiff. The previous owner recently replaced the spark plugs when the engine was misfiring slightly. The prior owner mentioned that a partial overhaul could be the next item, but the car did not show signs of this during a couple of test drives.


Two sets of tyres are included, both on Audi alloy wheels. Both sets have excellent tread: I measured about 8 mm on the summer tyres and 9 mm on the studded tyres. No tyre wear is expected for a long time.


It is reassuring that a piston and timing-chain overhaul was carried out a few years ago, which has kept oil consumption and an initial rattle under control.


The xenon headlights light up brightly as they should.


Although I tried to find any shade or edge differences from the front damage that occurred 13 years ago, I could not detect any. There are a few minor parking-lot scuffs on the bumpers, but nothing alarming.


A perfectly decent car that can still serve well for a long time. MOT is valid until March 2027.

Defects and other observations

On a short test drive we made the following observations:

  • Service book present; the most recent service and spark plugs were done on 14 April 2026 / 190,242 km. This is documented; other services are stamped in the service book. There is also a stamp for the piston overhaul and timing-chain kit from 2023.

  • The interior is intact — a light clean will make it like new. Audi equipment functions correctly.

  • The tyres are in excellent condition. The studded tyres were also fitted during the test drive; both sets are on Audi wheels. Summer tyres ~8 mm, studded ~9 mm.

  • Windshield intact, no chips or cracks.

  • Xenon lights work as they should.

  • No rattles or knocks. Feels like a proper, solid car.

  • Without the 2013 repair entry in Traficom, the car would fit perfectly in our sales line and we would otherwise try to sell it ourselves.


The car has not undergone a technical condition inspection by us and not all features have been tested. There may be latent faults we did not detect on the test drive. You are welcome to inspect the car in more detail before making a binding bid. Please arrange your visit in advance, thank you.
