22-tonne pneumatic jack

Belongs to the group of point-lifting jacks designed to lift a vehicle along a vertical axis. The jack is powered by compressed air, which drives a hydraulic pump that generates pressure in the hydraulic cylinder. The rising pressure pushes the jack’s telescopic section upwards; reducing the pressure lets it lower. Another important design feature is the jack’s length, which affects ease of working when lifting vehicles where support points are hard to reach. Such jacks are fitted with wheels for manoeuvring. Lighter, portable versions are also available for easier carriage in a service vehicle.

With the fitted lubrication system, friction between interacting surfaces is reduced, cutting wear and protecting against corrosion. Oil also often serves as a coolant.

These jacks are used for maintenance of lorries, buses, agricultural machines and armoured military vehicles.

The unit is supplied with two extension tips to increase lifting height. Road wheels allow easy transport.

The lift handle can be set in three positions for improved working comfort.
